He has wrote the book holes and also the series wayside school. The book side ways school is a really famous stories. he was born in New York on march 20 1954. His dad work on the empire state building and that's probably what influenced Wayside school. He helped in a school called hillside and his book wayside is inspired by those kids. I think he wrote this story on some part of life experience. All his books he has wrote are about one of his life experience. I think that's what inspired Holes.
I didn't know his dad worked in the empire state building. That's cool that he wrote all of his stories from personal experiences. I pretty sure he wrote holes on his experiences
